The Honor brand presented another smartphone in China. This time it is the mid-range model Honor Play 5.
Honor Play 5 received an OLED display with a diagonal of 6.53 inches and Full HD+ resolution. The screen has a droplet notch that houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0). The heart of the new model is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM. The internal memory, in turn, is 128 or 256 GB and can be expanded with a card. Power is provided by a battery with a relatively modest capacity of 3800 mAh - but with a fast 65 W charge, allowing you to fill the battery in half an hour.
A quad camera is mounted on the back of the housing - but in fact, rather double, because the two matrices are 2-megapixel cameras with f/2.4 lenses for macro and background blurring. The main camera has 64 Mpx (f/1.9), and the wide-angle - 8 Mpx (f/2.4). The device works under the control of Android 10 with the Magic UI 4.0 overlay, but without Google services. Honor Play 5 is intended for distribution only in China, so it's not a problem. There are three color versions to choose from - and two prices, depending on the memory capacity. The 128 GB model costs 2099 yuan, and 256 GB - 2299 yuan. After conversion, it is about $ 329-359.
