The Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 5 stood out this spring with its performance and compact size, and now the Legion Y700 Infinite has officially launched, offering mobile connectivity in an even smaller form factor.

The Legion Y700 Infinite has a lot to offer. Compared to the already impressive Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 5, apart from its size and 5G connectivity, it also stands out for its display parameters - instead of an 8.8-inch LCD, there's an 8.4-inch OLED with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 px, 12-bit color and the U9 Pro's eye-safe protective substrate. Its brightness can reach from 1 to 4000 nits, and the refresh rate switches as needed between a particularly smooth 165 Hz, 144 Hz, 120 Hz, 60 Hz, or 30 Hz in Always-On Display mode. The 3400 Hz instant touch sampling rate is equally smooth, as is the 360 Hz ten-finger touch sampling rate.

The Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite's battery is slightly more modest, with a capacity of 7470 mAh and a charging power of 68W. In practice, however, battery capacity shouldn't be an issue – Lenovo claims that a fully charged tablet allows for up to 10.6 hours of playing popular games over Wi-Fi, and with access to a power source, you can use the bypass charging function, powering the tablet without draining the battery.

A significant advantage of the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite is its 5G mobile connectivity, with support for dual SIM and the 5G n79 frequency band. The evenly distributed antenna system ensures stable connectivity when holding the tablet in both portrait and landscape orientations. Performance is provided by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition processor with a generous memory setup – up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM, providing data throughput of up to 10.667 Mbps, and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 Pro internal storage.

The Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite is currently available in China in Ice White and Cloud Ink Purple. There are three memory configurations to choose from, all discounted by 1,500 yuan (approximately $224, €191) during the launch promotion. Standard prices for each variant are as follows:

  • 12+256GB - 5499 yuan ($818, €702)
  • 16+512GB - 6499 yuan ($967, €829)
  • 24GB + 1TB - 8499 yuan ($1265, €1084)
