Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro officially presented

The new top Vivo models debuted in China. Meet Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro - the latter even in two versions!

Vivo X80

Vivo X80 received a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, supported by 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory. The display is made in AMOLED E5 technology - it has a diagonal of 6.78 inches, Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz image refreshment. The screen has a hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and an optical fingerprint reader is mounted under the screen. The main camera has a 50-megapixel RGBW Sony IMX866 matrix with a size of 1/1.56" and a lens with an aperture of f/1.75, with OIS Optical Image Stabilization. Next to it, we have two 12-megapixel cameras - wide-angle and portrait, with a 2x telephoto lens. Power supply is provided by a 4500 mAh battery with an 80-watt charging system. Vivo X80 Pro

Vivo X80 Pro also has an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches, but already with QHD+ resolution and still with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In the screen - as in the base - we see a hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera, but the sub-screen fingerprint reader is already ultrasonic. The main camera is invariably 50-megapixel, but with a lens with a great f/1.57 aperture. For this we have a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel camera with a telephoto lens giving 2x zoom and equipped with gimbal optical stabilization. The set is completed by an 8-megapixel camera with a periscope telephoto lens with OIS and a 5x lossless and 60x digital zoom. All this is powered by a 4700 mAh battery with 80 W wired and 50 W induction charging. The smartphone comes in two versions, differing in processors: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Processors have 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and internal memory. 256 or 512 GB. In both models, we have Android 12 as the system with the OriginOS Ocean interface. Unlike the base version, the Pro model has a waterproof IP68 housing.
