Huawei today unveiled as many as four new smartphones from the flagship Mate series. Here are Huawei Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, Mate 50 RS and Mate 50E.
Huawei Mate 50
Huawei Mate 50 is the base model of the new family. It has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2700 x 1224 pixels and a refreshing rate of 90 Hz. The heart of the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB internal memory. The memory for files can be increased with the company's NM card. In the photographic part we have a 13-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture and a triple rear camera. Its main module has 50 megapixels and a variable aperture f/1.4-4.0, while the wide-angle one has 13 megapixels and an aperture of f/2.2. They are complemented by a 12 Mpx camera with a telephoto lens with f/3.4 aperture and OIS stabilization. Mate 50 is powered by a battery with a capacity of 4460 mAh, charging by wire with a power of 66 W, and wireless - by 50 W. Everything is closed in a sealed housing with an IP68 certificate. The prices are as follows:

Huawei Mate 50E
Huawei Mate 50E is a model practically identical to the Huawei Mate 50. It is, however, cheaper and positioned eyelet lower. Why? It's simple - the top Snapdragon has been replaced with a slightly weaker Snapdragon 778. This model comes in two versions:
- 8 + 128 GB - 3999 yuan, $ 575
- 8 + 256 GB - 4499 yuan, $ 650

Huawei Mate 50 Pro
Huawei Mate 50 Pro received an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.74 inches, a resolution of 2612 x 1212 pixels and a refreshing rate of 120 Hz, with a not very fashionable, large note. In addition to the 13-megapixel selfie notch camera, this one also houses a ToF sensor for an advanced 3D face recognition system. The rear camera still has a 50-megapixel main module with a variable aperture and a wide-angle 13 Mpx, but next to them we find a 64-megapixel camera with an optically stabilized telephoto lens and f/3.5 aperture. The processor was left unchanged from the base, but it had 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of flash memory. The Pro version is powered by a 4700 mAh battery that charges with the same powers as in the base model. You can choose from the following memory and price variants:

Huawei Mate 50 RS
Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Design is a more exclusive version of the Pro model. It has a different styling, but practically the same specification - except for one difference. Only the camera with a telephoto lens was changed. Here it has a 48 Mpx matrix, a periscope structure, OIS and additionally deals with macro shots. This model only comes with 12+512GB memory, priced at 12,999 yuan, or $ 1,870.
As a result of US sanctions, none of the new models supports Google services, and moreover, it does not support 5G, but you will be able to buy a cover, which, however, will allow you to use the latest networks. In addition, it will be possible to use (in an emergency, out of range of cellular networks) satellite telephony in the Chinese Beidou system.
