We have heard about Samsung's smart ring several times, although these were still very general rumors. Now the source code of Samsung's official app has revealed some details.

One of them concerns the appearance of the new device, although for now you can't see much - it's only the device icon, which a user of the Korean forum dcinside.com found inside an application that connects wearable gadgets with smartphones. The 9to5google website managed to confirm that that "Galaxy Ring" will be the official name of the new gadget. As with other Samsung wearable devices, the Galaxy Ring can be controlled via Bluetooth after installing the appropriate extension for the Galaxy Wearable application. The information is consistent with the previous Galaxy Ring patent, promising "a smart device for measuring health and/or sleep indicators in the form of a ring." The new leak also confirms the expected release date of the Galaxy Ring - it can be expected in early 2024, during the Galaxy Unpacked event in the company of flagship smartphones from the Galaxy S24 series.
