Oppo presented two new smartphones in China. Oppo Reno 11 and Oppo Reno 11 Pro have an unusual appearance but quite decent equipment. Together with them, the Oppo Pad Air2 tablet debuts.
The Oppo Reno 11 series smartphones are equipped with displays with slightly curved sides, as well as quite unconventional-looking camera frames. They have the form of ovals with circles marked on them, into which three lenses are incorporated. The smallest of them, unfortunately, is somewhat offensive due to its asymmetrical arrangement. The phones are offered in three aesthetic colors. The premiere took place in China - but it is not known when global distribution of these smartphones will begin.
Oppo Reno 11
Oppo Reno11 received a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, supported by LPDDR5x and UFS 3.1 memories with capacities of 8 or 12 and 256 or 512 GB, respectively. The smartphone also has a 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz image refresh rate and 240 Hz touch refresh rate. In the photographic part, you will find a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture, as well as a main 50-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. Next to it, there is also a wide-angle camera with an 8 Mpx matrix, f/2.2 aperture and 112-degree field of view, as well as a camera with a 2x portrait telephoto lens with a 32-megapixel matrix and f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is powered by a 4800 mAh battery with 67-watt charging, and the housing dimensions are 162.4x74.1x7.66 mm with a weight of 184 g. Here is the price list:
- 8+256 GB - 2499 yuan, USD 355
- 12+256 GB - 2799 yuan, USD 395
- 12+512 GB - 2999 yuan, USD 425

Oppo Reno 11 Pro
Oppo Reno11 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 4700 mAh battery with 80 W charging. This smartphone - despite similarity of appearance - it is larger than the base model and has a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2772x1240 pixels, but with the image refreshed at a frequency of 120 and touch - 240 Hz. This model measures 163x74.2x8.26 mm and weighs 190 g. Interestingly, the cameras here are identical to those in the base model. Unfortunately, the styling of the smartphones is a bit "cheating" - the cutout in the frame suggests the presence of a periscope lens, while it has a classic design and a small 2x zoom... It's a pity. The price list is as follows:
- 12+256 GB - 3499 yuan, USD 495
- 12+512 GB - 3799 yuan, USD 536
