The Lava brand, popular in India, presented a budget smartphone Lava O2, which - at least on the company's renders - looks really attractive. The question is what is it like in reality...
Lava, unlike ZTE, showed that you can release a cheap, simple smartphone that - at least on the company's graphics - looks really good. Lava O2 is available in three attractive colors (Imperial Green, Majestic Purple and Royal Gold), has fashionable, flat housing surfaces, and does not offend (although I'm afraid that the graphic designer has slightly colored the reality here) with wide "airports" around the display. This screen measures 6.6 inches and has HD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, as well as a hole for an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Inside the housing there is a Unisoc T616 processor, supported by 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory, virtual RAM and a microSD slot.
The power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W charging power. The main camera has a 50 megapixel matrix, and next to it there is an AI module, which is probably a low-resolution background blurr. The operating system is the old, but supposedly "pure" Android 13. The phone costs 8,500 in India rupees, i.e. 102 dollars or 95 euros. We can only wish potential buyers that the actual appearance of the smartphone turns out to be as cool as in the graphics...
