The Indian branch of Vivo presented two new, mid-range models Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro. They have an interesting appearance and good equipment.
Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro they have a similar appearance and identical dimensions - 164.2 x 74.9 x 7.58 mm. It is worth paying attention to the small thickness of the housing. Inevitably, the screens of both models are the same: 6.78-inch, AMOLED, with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, refresh rate of 120 Hz and brightness up to 4500 nits, of course peak, point brightness. Both screens have holes for 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 selfie cameras. The smartphones use Android 14 with the Funtouch OS 14 interface and are powered by 5,500 mAh batteries with 80-watt charging.

Vivo V40 received a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and memory in the following combinations: 8+128 GB, 12+256 GB and 12+512 GB. On the back of the housing there are two 50-megapixel cameras - the main one with optical stabilization and the wide-angle one. In turn, Vivo V40 Pro has a third, 50-megapixel camera with a portrait telephoto lens on the back, and the heart of this model is the MediaTek processor Dimensity 9200+, combined with 8+256 GB, 12+256 GB and 12+512 GB memories. Both models can be had in colors called Meteor Blue, Moonlight White and Stellar Silver, and Vivo V40 additionally in Nebula Purple and Sunglow Peach. Vivo V40 prices start from 40,000 rupees ($480), and Vivo V40 Pro - from 55,000 rupees ($655).
