The budget smartphone Itel Zeno 100 has just been joined by a new model with a design reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Does the Itel Zeno 100 Pro offer anything new?
The itel Zeno 100 features a refreshed look, with a wide camera island and an orange colour variant similar to the Apple smartphone, but the manufacturer's official website reveals that its specifications are identical to those offered by the basic Itel Zeno 100 model, also known as the Itel 100 Lite. While the only noticeable difference is the appearance and color options, the Itel Zeno 100 Pro is slightly more expensive – the 3GB RAM variant costs 8,599 rupees, or approximately $90, €78.
The Itel Zeno 100 Pro's primary advantage is its price. Other advantages include durability confirmed by the MIL-STD 810H certification and Ultralink connectivity, allowing it to stay connected to other compatible smartphones even when there's no cellular network coverage. The Zeno 100 Pro is powered by the Unisoc T7100 processor, a 5000mAh battery that charges at 10W, and a 6.56-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 400 nits. For photography, an 8MP main camera and a 5MP front-facing camera with a drip notch are used. The Android 15 Go operating system is paired with LPDDR4X RAM in 3GB and 4GB variants, expandable with 5GB of virtual RAM and 64GB of internal eMMC 5.0 storage. In addition to the Comet Orange color variant, Natural Black and Cloud White are also available.
Two Itel Zeno power banks are also available alongside the new smartphone – one has a 10,000mAh capacity and supports 22.5W charging, while the other has a 20,000mAh capacity and supports faster 45W charging. Both feature a digital battery capacity display and a USB-C cable included.
