Motorola has settled comfortably in the mid-range segment of the market and is doing quite well. We now have another model, Motorola Moto G45 5G, which is to bring 5G connectivity into the hands of less affluent customers.
In theory, the Motorola Moto G45 5G is to be an inexpensive smartphone with 5G connectivity and a fairly reasonable set of equipment in the lower zone of the mid-range market segment. And what do we have there? First, the best: stereo speakers, a mini-jack and a place for a microSD card, as well as a solid casing, with practical vegan leather on the back and IP52 tightness. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor also looks quite good, as does the 5000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging.
The camera set is not overly rich, but the 16-megapixel selfie camera and the 50-megapixel main camera with 2-megapixel background blur support are enough to capture important moments. The smartphone debuted with Android 14, it will also receive 15 and 3 years of support with fixes. The weakest in all of this is the 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution, although with a 120-hertz refresh rate. The lower memory set is also not particularly encouraging, with 4 GB of RAM - for today it is the absolute minimum. Fortunately, there is also a richer version, 8 GB, and the internal memory is only available in one version, 128 GB. The price, depending on RAM, is 11 or 13 thousand Indian rupees, or 132-155 USD.
