In addition to the Pura 90s series smartphones, Huawei has also announced a new iteration of Huawei MatePad Air.
Huawei MatePad Air (2026) is an evolution of previous models, offered in two versions – with a classic glossy screen, and also in a PaperMatte variant with a satin finish that, as you can probably guess from the name, imitates paper. Regardless of the finish, the screen is 12-inch, OLED, with a resolution of 2800 x 1840 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and up to 1200 nits of brightness. The screen supports the M-Pencil stylus, has 10-bit color, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1. The tablet uses a Kirin T93C processor, HarmonyOS 4.3, and either 8+256 or 12+256 GB of memory. It's powered by a 10,100 mAh battery with 66-watt charging, and includes a 50-megapixel camera (f/1.8) and a 12-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.4). The tablet also has six speakers, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.2 with support for SBC, AAC, LDAC, and L2HC codecs, and a USB 3.1 port. The base, glossy 8+256GB version costs €849, while the matte 8+256GB version costs €899 with a stylus or keyboard. The matte 12+256GB version costs €999 with a keyboard included.
