The mid-range smartphones Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ are already available in China. It's time to find out their prices and detailed specifications.

The Redmi Note series is far from the budget models that were once synonymous with this brand. Last year's Redmi Note 13 Pro+ even boasted a 200 Mpx main camera! However, smartphone cameras with extreme resolution quickly went out of fashion, and this year's series offers a more balanced set of photos. All three smartphones offer a 50 Mpx Sony LYT-600 main camera, while the more expensive models feature additional cameras.

The basic Redmi Note 13 model is the most modest in this respect - on its iPhone-like camera island, in addition to the main 50 Mpx matrix, there is a 2 Mpx macro camera, and at the front, there is an 8 Mpx camera for selfies and video calls. The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ already offer 20 Mpx on the front, as well as additional rear cameras - an 8 Mpx ultra-wide camera for the Pro, a 12 Mpx ultra-wide camera and a 50 Mpx telephoto lens for the Pro Plus.

All three models boast an attractive 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh, with HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. They all also offer high brightness - the basic model reaches a peak of 2100 nits, and the Note 14 Pro+ model even 3000 nits.

A big change compared to the Redmi Note 13 series are also the new-generation batteries, although, as with the camera resolution, the charging power of the most expensive model has also been slightly reduced. Instead of lightning-fast charging, this time its buyers will be able to count on a longer battery life. The Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ have battery capacities of 5110 mAh, 5500 mAh and 6200 mAh, respectively, with the two cheaper models charging at 45 W, and the Note 14 Pro+ charging at 90 W.

The new generation also includes new processors. The basic Redmi Note 14 is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7025 Ultra, the Redmi Note 14 Pro uses the Dimensity 7300, and the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus has the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, with an additional Xiaomi T1 module that amplifies the connection signal. The new generation of smartphones uses the HyperOS operating system based on Android 14, and their internal memory can be expanded with a microSD card.
