The new Oppo smartphone is characterized by a modest appearance and parameters, but it can stand out.
Oppo A3x 4G is a budget smartphone that can already be purchased in the Indian store Oppo or Amazon. Its manufacturer does not pretend that this phone will take great photos or offer above-average performance, and in promotional materials emphasizes its practical advantages.
One of them is shock resistance meeting the military standard MIL-STD-810H, thanks to which the Oppo A3x 4G should survive a fall to the floor. It can also survive contact with water, but it is better not to risk dropping it in the bathtub - its dust and water resistance class is IP54, which guarantees resistance to splashing at most. Oppo, on the other hand, emphasizes resistance to various liquids, such as soup or coffee, as well as the possibility of using the screen with wet fingers. Other interesting features of the smartphone include the Extra Audible function, which increases the volume to 300%, as well as Turbo Torch, i.e. a flashlight that shines twice as brightly.

The main parameters of the Oppo A3x 4G are already very modest. Its 6.67-inch LCD screen offers HD+ resolution (1604 x 720 px), 90 Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits brightness, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 processor is accompanied by 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 64 or 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal memory, and the Android 14 operating system with the ColorOS 14 interface. Fortunately, the modest internal memory can be expanded with a microSD card, and there is also a 3.5 mm minijack. There is an 8 Mpx main camera for photos and a 5 Mpx selfie camera in a hole in the front. Its 5,100mAh battery can be charged at 45W, which lets you charge from 0% to 50% in half an hour—not bad for a budget phone.
The Oppo A3x 4G is currently available in India in either Nebula Red or Ocean Blue color options, along with two storage options. The 64GB variant is priced at Rs 8,999 (around $107, €99), while the 128GB version is priced at Rs 9,999 ($120, €110).
