Tecno has presented a budget tablet with the somewhat misleading name Tecno Megapad 10. I have no idea what the term "Mega" refers to - but the only thing that comes to mind is the screen size.
But the size of the Magapad's display is not overly impressive - it is 10.1 inches. The LCD screen has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and a brightness of up to 450 nits, and its relatively wide frame houses a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera has 13 megapixels, and the multimedia package is complemented by two stereo speakers. The heart of the tablet is the MediaTek Helio G80 processor, supported by a very modest 4 GB of RAM and internal memory offered in 128 or 256 GB variants along with a microSD card slot. Everything is managed by Android 14, while the power is provided by a 7000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging, ensuring that the battery is filled in 2.5 hours. There are Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) and LTE connectivity modules on board. The tablet measures 240.7 x 159.5 x 7.35 mm and weighs 450 g. Tecno Megapad 10 is available in two colours: gold and grey. The price has not been announced yet, but it probably won't be high.
