A few weeks ago we mentioned the budget smartphone HMD Arc. It was budget - but with the next model, HMD Key, the manufacturer has surpassed the concept of budget!
HMD Key contains, as the name suggests, all the key elements that a smartphone should have - however, these are elements from the lowest possible shelf, and in addition, they sometimes give the impression that this shelf was reached a good few years ago... For example, a 6.52-inch LCD display with a resolution of - attention - 576x1280 pixels! This is not even HD+! Of course, you can forget about a higher refresh rate or high brightness - this is only 460 nits. It doesn't get any better. The heart of the smartphone is the Unisoc 9832E processor, supported by a paltry 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, along with a microSD slot. Such memory is not enough even for the basic functions of Android Go! Even if the manufacturer promised two years of support with security patches...

The HMD Key battery also does not impress - it has a capacity of 4000 mAh and charges at 10 W. The cameras will only satisfy minimalists - there is a 5-megapixel one on the front and an 8-megapixel one on the back. So does the HMD Key have no advantages, apart from the battery? Well, it does - it is equipped with a mini-jack, still desired by many users, as well as protection in case of accidental soaking - IP52. Additionally, in addition to black, the smartphone can also be had in a not-so-ugly turquoise color. All this for 60 British pounds, or about 75 dollars. In my opinion, it's too expensive...
