Huawei today unveiled new smartphones Huawei Pura 80, Huawei Pura 80 Pro, Huawei Pura 80 Pro+ and Huawei Pura 80 Ultra. What do they offer and how much do they cost?
The new smartphones are equipped with inch photographic matrices, satellite communication, efficient processors and capacious batteries. The satellite connection in the Chinese Beidou network allows not only text communication, but also sending photos. All models have OLED displays with LTPO with a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and a 10-bit colour palette, covered with strong Kunlun Glass. Huawei, as usual, did not provide the types of processors installed in the new ones, limiting itself to information about their higher performance. All Pura 80 smartphones offer IP68/69 housing tightness and 13 megapixel f/2.0 selfie cameras.

Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Huawei Pura 80 Pro+
Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Huawei Pura 80 Pro+ already have larger, 6.8-inch screens curved on each side. They have Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 1+120 Hz. The Pro variants also have larger batteries, with a capacity of 5700 mAh, with 100-watt wired charging and 80-watt induction. The Huawei Pura 80 Pro has similar memory variants to the base Pura 80 model, while the Pro+ variant comes with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of internal memory. These models already use inch-sized photo matrices in the main cameras, which have 50 megapixels, optical stabilization and an f/1.6-f/4.0 aperture. There is also a 48-megapixel camera with a 93 mm telephoto lens and 4x zoom, an f/2.1 aperture, OIS and a macro function. The set is completed by a 40-megapixel wide-angle camera and - as always - a colour band sensor.

Huawei Pura 80 Ultra
The star of the premiere is Huawei Pura 80 Ultra. It stands out with a unique design of the camera with a telephoto lens, in which a 1/1.28-inch matrix works with... two sets of lenses. Thanks to this, the same matrix can switch between a 3.7x and 9.4x zoom lens, while maintaining optical stabilization. This is the first such camera in the world. Of course, when changing lenses, the focal length and aperture also change - f/2.4 and 83 mm or f/3.6 and 212 mm, respectively. In addition, this model has a 50-megapixel main camera with an inch RYYB matrix, optical stabilization, and a variable aperture between f/1.6 and f/4.0. The set also includes a 40-megapixel wide-angle camera and a colour sensor known from the Pro variants. The display and battery are the same as in the Pro variants, as are the memory variants.
