Xiaomi Redmi 15R has just made its debut in China – an attractive budget phone that has already debuted several times in one form or another. Two details distinguish it from its predecessors.
Its existence was noted on X by leakster Santanu, revealing its local pricing, design, memory variants, and the smartphone model it was based on. Thanks to this information, we know that Redmi 15R, like Redmi 15 5G, offers a 6.9-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 px with a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, a 50 Mpx main camera and an 8 Mpx front camera, Android 15 with the HyperOS interface, and, above all, an impressively capacious 7000 mAh battery that charges at 33W.
So what's the difference between Redmi 15R and Redmi 15 5G and the POCO M7 Plus 5G? Colour and memory variants. The standard black and white variants are now available in blue, and the top-of-the-line model has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Prices for the individual Redmi 15R variants are as follows:
