Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy F07 in India. Funny, but it's identical to the already known Galaxy A07 and Galaxy M07…
I have no idea what drives Samsung's marketing people to offer three identical models under different names, in different series... Is this supposed to create the impression of a plentiful offering? Or is it perhaps a nod to fans of each smartphone family? Most likely, each model is targeted at a different distribution channel – but that's just a guess. In any case, the new Samsung Galaxy F07 is technically in line with the Galaxy A07 or Galaxy M07.

Like its twin models, the Samsung Galaxy F07 is a budget phone, powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with a 4G modem and a 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone also features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an 8-megapixel selfie camera in a drip notch. On the back, you'll find a 50-megapixel camera supported by a 2-megapixel background blur sensor. The housing offers IP54 waterproofing, and the smartphone also features a microSD slot, a minijack, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Like its two siblings, the Samsung Galaxy F07 runs Android 15 with One UI 7, which will receive exceptional support for a budget model: six Android updates and six years of security patches. The model is available with 4GB or 64GB of storage, but pricing has not yet been announced. The twin models cost around $85.
