Huawei has today added the mid-range Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition to its new, affordable flip phone lineup.
The Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition is a typical mid-range model, with a 6.7-inch, flat OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of up to 1100 nits. As usual, the manufacturer doesn't disclose the processor powering this model or its RAM, limiting itself to 256 or 512 GB of internal storage. The smartphone features an interestingly designed camera bezel, striking colors, and a slim design – just 7.15 mm thick and weighing 191 g. HarmonyOS 5.1 powers the operating system, and features include an infrared transmitter, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and IP65 waterproofing. The device is powered by a 5500 mAh battery with 66-watt charging, and a 50-megapixel front camera with a 1/2.5-inch sensor and f/2.4 aperture takes care of selfies.
On the back is the main camera with a 50-megapixel RYYB 1/1.56-inch sensor and an f/1.9 aperture, supported by an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 112-degree field of view. Depending on the internal memory, the smartphone costs 2,199 or 2,499 yuan, which equates to $310-355.
