The Indian brand Ai+ has unveiled its new Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G smartphones. They are affordable, but not necessarily budget-friendly.
Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G is the simpler of the models unveiled today. It features a 6.74-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and up to 600 nits of brightness, but with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It's powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with up to 6GB of storage, and supports expansion with a microSD card. It's powered by a 6000mAh battery with 18W charging, and runs Android 16 with NxtQuantum OS. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 main camera.

The Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G is a higher-tier, larger model. It has a 6.9-inch LCD screen, but with Full HD+ resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and up to 800 nits of brightness. Powering this model is a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, supported by up to 8GB of memory. The Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G has the same main camera as the Neo model, but with colorful indicator LEDs mounted alongside it, and the front camera has been replaced with a 13-megapixel one. The battery remains 6000 mAh, but charges faster at 33W. This smartphone also features a microSD card slot, and both models also feature stereo speakers, side-mounted fingerprint readers, and additional AI keys. Both are also IP65-rated.
