As previously announced, Honor has unveiled a new smartphone featuring a massive battery. Honor X9e Pro debuts with an 11,000 mAh battery!
This battery is the new Honor's standout feature. It supports 80W charging and offers 27W reverse charging. It is designed to provide enough power for 66 hours of video playback or 164 hours of music listening, while boasting a lifespan of at least six years. Despite the huge battery, the smartphone measures 162.2 x 77 x 8.08 mm and weighs 203 g. Honor X9e Pro also impresses with its durability: it is built to withstand drops from heights of up to three meters onto ten different types of surfaces—including rough ones—and holds IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. According to the manufacturer, the phone underwent submersion testing at depths of up to 10 meters over 100,000 cycles. Another highlight of the phone is its LTPS AMOLED display, featuring a 6.8-inch diagonal, 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and brightness typically reaching 800 nits (with a peak of 1000 nits).

At the heart of the new Honor device lies the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM and either 512 GB or 256 GB of flash storage, all running on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. The camera setup includes a 108-megapixel main camera (f/1.75) with a 1/1.67-inch sensor, a modest 5-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.2), and a 16-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.45). Four color versions are available: Royal Purple, Midnight Black, Dawn Gold, and Reddish Brown. In Malaysia, the 8+256 GB version is priced at the equivalent of $465, while the 8+512 GB variant costs $590. The Honor X9e Pro resembles another Honor smartphone, the Honor X80 Pro Max, but differs in a few details—such as the camera setup.
