Although no one was specifically waiting for it, Vivo has expanded its "Y" series with the Vivo Y600i model. It is an affordable device—not particularly impressive in terms of raw power, but notably rugged and equipped with a solid battery.
The star of the Vivo Y600i is its 8000 mAh battery, which supports 44 W charging and is designed to retain 80% of its original capacity after 1,500 charge cycles. Naturally, it also supports reverse charging. The battery is rated to provide up to 25 hours of watching short-form videos or 16 hours of navigation. The smartphone also boasts IP68 and IP69 ingress protection ratings and a five-star drop resistance rating from SGS. The device measures 169.55 x 79.2 x 8.69 mm and weighs 230 g. Unfortunately, the rest of the specifications are less impressive.

The Vivo Y600i is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, supported by 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The LCD display measures 6.78 inches, features a 120 Hz refresh rate and brightness of up to 1300 nits, but unfortunately operates at only HD+ resolution. The smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera; the specs are rounded out by features such as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster. The price is 1,999 yuan—equivalent to 300 dollars. Unfortunately, then, it isn't exactly a bargain...
