Samsung’s new type of wireless earbuds will soon go on sale—first in South Korea, followed by a global release. We now know exactly what they offer and what they will cost.
As clip-on earbuds, the Samsung Galaxy Buds On feature a secure fit around the outer ear, offer greater comfort during extended use compared to in-ear models, and allow for better awareness of one's surroundings. The TwinBoost speaker system—which boosts low-frequency sounds and adjusts volume based on the environment—aims to mitigate the typical drawbacks of this design, while Audio Leakage Reduction technology prevents sound from spilling out in public spaces.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 audio platform and a Class-D amplifier optimize the Galaxy Buds On's energy consumption, enabling 9.5 hours of music playback on a single charge.

An official press release on Samsung's Korean website has confirmed that the Galaxy Buds On will debut on October 27, initially launching only in South Korea and in a black color variant. They will be priced at 299,000 Korean won (approximately $220 / €195), and the Samsung Galaxy Buds On will eventually reach the global market as well.
