We have been hearing for some time about the new budget BlackBerry smartphone, but so far, there hasn’t been any further specifics. Today, however, we have photos from two different sources, as well as scrap specifications.
The first of the photos, showing the phone in a red cover, was showed by CrackBerry service. The photo, though coming from Instagram, looks authentic. Its veracity confirms another image, derived from the BBIN.in and showing the same phone, but in the black version. The design resembles the outline of well-selling model Q10. The cheaper phone will not be a full touch screen phone: under the square screen it will have a QWERTY keyboard. That display is to have a diagonal of 3.1 inches and the resolution of 720x720 pixels.

We do not know the type of processor that will go to the model referred to as R10, but we know that this system will get 2 GB of RAM. A user is to have the most of the 8-gigabyte built-in support for data and this modest space suggests that the phone will be equipped with a microSD card slot. The rear part, hides a 5-megapixel camera and a battery with a capacity of 1800 mAh. It will be undecomposable - and although you can not see it in the pictures, you can bet that it will be slightly convex, smooth sheet of plastic.
At the moment it is too early to give a precise release date of the new model with BlackBerry OS 10. The most likely assumption is the third quarter of this year...
