We are basically certain that Sony will show us the next-generation flagship smartphone in autumn. We can only speculate about the specification and athe ppearance of Xperia Z3 and... the Compact version!
The latest leak from China indicates that Sony will present at the same time the full-size flagship and its compact version. On the Weibo site there appeared two images where we can see Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact. Both models have a similar styling, but slightly different from the previously used, and something that can be an additional speaker. The presence of two stereo speakers, located along the shorter sides of the screen, suggests symmetrical, narrow slits. Of course, this can only be a stylists' trick - but doesn't the flagship Xperia deserve a decent stereo?
Unfortunately, today it is too early to talk about any elements of the specification. We may assume that the phone will most likely receive a waterproof housing, while in the larger model we should expect the screen with a QHD resolution. In the smaller one – I bet a FullHD. The photographs suggest that the new models will be available in different colours. Xperia Z3 release date is basically clear: IFA in early September. As for the Compact version - there are only guesses...
