Panasonic returns on the premium smartphone market! Lumix Smart Camera CM1 presented at Photokina 2014 could confuse on the market of photo mobile... if not its price.
The design of Panasonic has all the attributes of a modern smartphone, but it also has a really great camera, equipped with a 1-inch size MOS matrix - huge, as for a smartphone. The matrix has 20 megapixels and is accompanied by DC Elmarit Leica f/2.8. 28 mm lens. We also have a mechanical shutter and recording in RAW format. The phone is not so large: the housing with the lens is 21.1 mm thick (with hidden lens: 15.2 mm), while the 204 g weight of the device corresponds to the case, in large part made of metal.

In addition to an impressive sensor and lens of the well-known brand, the device features a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB processor, 2 GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. Taking pictures and the interface support will provide a 4.7-inch FullHD display, while the power supply is the 2600 mAh battery. Files can be saved in the internal memory of 16 GB or a microSD card up to 128 GB. The smartphone also has modules LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC, while for the weaker side can be considered recording 4K video at a rate of only 15 frames per second. FullHD movies are already recorded, however, at the normal speed of 30 frames / sec... A major drawback of the device can also be its price, amounting to up to 900 euro. And although we know that you need to pay the extra for the Leica logo, the amount is rather prohibitive.
