New Apple ideas to control the smartphone

Apple is constantly working on new solutions for mobile devices. It's basically obvious, but sometimes it is worth looking in Cupertino's plans, because some of the ideas are really interesting.

Service Patentlyapple describes another idea of American engineers, which in principle is possible to be implemented "immediately". The concept uses only the appropriate software and sensors, which have long been host even in the cheapest smartphones. What is it? Apple engineers want controlling a phone to be possible with the use of the camera and accelerometer. Somewhat simplified, the idea is that we can control some functions of a phone using taps into the housing. Imagine: holding the phone to your ear during a call, tap your housing to increase the volume. To decrease it, tap it twice, and to mute the microphone - three times. And so on - the list of possibilities is quite long and actually depends only on the ingenuity of developers software. It should be noted that in a similar manner we could also control the various applications - for example games. Another of the Apple innovations, waiting for the protection with a patent is using the rear camera as an additional trackpad. It's quite simple: swiping your finger over the lens you could control the scrolling images on the phone. I do not know how about you, but to me it seems more practical than from the touch panel on the back wall - provided of course that the lens will be placed in a location that allows for convenient sliding of a finger without changing the position of the phone in hand.

I have the impression that the two ideas are not entirely new. I've already encountered some similar - though not identical - solutions. But remember that Apple is famous for the fact that it inspires itself with the known solutions, but before using them in its products it introduces a number of modifications and improvements. I bet that in this case it will be the same.
