ZenFone 3 Max was enclosed in a metal housing with dimensions of 151.4 x 76.24 x 8.3 mm, which will be offered in silver, gold, titanium and pink. The phone weighs 175 grams and is powered by a battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh. ZenFone 3 Max has a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS screen behind glass 2.5D with a filter of harmful blue light. The heart of the smartphone is the octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor aided with Adreno 505 graphics and 2 or 3 GB of RAM - depending on the chosen version.

ZenFone 3 Max comes with 32 GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot up to 128 GB. Unfortunately, this is a hybrid slot, thus giving up the extra memory, you can use the DualSIM Dual Standby mode. The smartphone also has an 8 megapixel front camera with four-element lens aperture of f/2.2, as well as the main rear camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels with five-element lens f/2.0, a laser autofocus and a dual LED flash.
