Xiaomi Black Shark 3 officially presented, along with the Pro variant

As announced, Xiaomi today presented its Xiaomi Black Shark 3 gaming smartphone, as well as its Black Shark 3 Pro variant.

Xiaomi Black Shark 3 received an AMOLED display with a 6.67 inch diagonal and Full HD+ resolution, a 20: 9 aspect ratio and 500 nit brightness. The screen refresh rate is 90 Hz. The heart of the smartphone is Snapdragon 865 with Adreno 650 graphics, supported by 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory UFS 3.0. Two 2360 mAh batteries ensure power. The battery is split to provide better CPU cooling as well as better balance of the device while playing. The total battery capacity is 4720 mAh, and the charging power reaches 65 W. Wireless charging with 18 W is also possible.

Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a 20-megapixel selfie camera f/2.2, as well as a triple rear camera. The main rear matrix has 64 Mpx, and the next with a wide-angle lens - 13. Their work is supported by a 5-megapixel matrix for blurring the background. The apertures of the rear lenses are f/1.8, f/2.25 and f/2.2 respectively. The smartphone is equipped with an additional magnetic connector, enabling more convenient charging of the device while playing.

The Black Shark 3 Pro variant is larger, has a 7.1-inch display, already with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. Inevitably, it also has a larger battery, with a total capacity of 5000 mAh. The camera kit and processor are the same as in the base model, as is the memory capacity. Here, however, DDR5 bones have already been used, and flash memory is available in only one variant, 256 GB. This model has been enriched with additional mechanical manipulators - triggers - for players.

Both smartphones have metal-glass housings with an unusual camera frame. Both work under the control of Android 10. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 comes in colours called Black Lighting, Armor Gray, Silver Stars and Bright Pink, while Black Shark 3 Pro is available in Phantom Black and Kaijia Gray. The prices of the base model start from 3499 yuan (502 USD), and Pro - from 4699 yuan (674 USD).
