As previously announced, Huawei presented a refreshed version of the P Smart 2019. The new model was marked with the year 2020 - and thanks to cosmetic changes, the phone can be offered with GMS.
Huawei cannot install the Google service package on new models, but US restrictions do not apply to models that were certified before the lock was applied. Devices can get a new name, but they can't have too many changes in the design, so we get a slightly changed phone with a new name. For Huawei P Smart 2020, simply more memory was added than we had in the previous model. Last year's P Smart had 3+64 GB memory, and this year has 4 GB of RAM and a decent 128 GB of internal memory.
The rest of the specifications remained unchanged. So we have an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.21 inches and Full HD+ resolution, as well as an 8-core Kirin 710F processor. The droplet screen notch features an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, while on the back there are two matrices with resolutions of 13 and 2 Mpx. The smartphone has NFC, a 3400 mAh battery, a mini jack and a fingerprint scanner on the back of the housing. The "side effect" of Google's smartphone certification is the older version of the system - Android 9.0 with an EMUI 9.0 interface. New - the old P Smart is currently available in Germany, for 200 euro, in three colours.
