Samsung Galaxy A01 Core, which appeared some time ago in the Google Play Console, has been officially launched. So let's recall what a budget smartphone looks like.
From the outside - Samsung Galaxy A01 Core promises to be quite practical. The housing is made of a matte, rather non-tearing material with a non-slip texture. Plastic is available in three colour versions. On the front we find a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels (HD+), made in PLS TFT LCD technology. The screen is surrounded by a wide, even frame, in the upper part of which we can find a 5-megapixel selfie camera, equipped with an f/2.4 lens.
There is another single camera, this time an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. The heart of the phone is the MediaTek MT6739 processor, supported by a modest gigabyte of RAM. The internal memory has a capacity of 16 GB, of course with the option of expanding with a microSD card. Samsung Galaxy A01 Core does not have NFC, but has a triple card slot (DualSIM + microSD), a minijack, GPS, a single-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 and - of course - LTE. The smartphone powers a 3000 mAh battery. The dimensions and weight of the device are: 141.7 x 67.5 x 8.6 mm and 150 g. The price is 1,099,000 Indonesian rupees, or $ 74.
