Samsung Galaxy A73 - however there was a launch

Samsung presented new models of the Galaxy A series, but in its announcement "forgot" to mention one of them - the largest Galaxy A73. This model, however, reportedly also had its launch...

Samsung Galaxy A73 just quietly appeared on the manufacturer's website, and we can only guess about the "silencing" of the launch of the top model from the Galaxy A series. Samsung probably did it because A73 will initially have a slightly limited availability, and it will come to Europe little later. It is possible that it will not reach us at all - but still, it's worth looking at its specification.

Samsung Galaxy A73 has a Super AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, Full HD+ resolution and an image refresh rate of 120 Hz. The heart of the smartphone is probably Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G or Exynos 1280 - although Samsung of course does not specify it 100%. The processor is supported by 6 or 8 GB operating memory and 128 or 256 GB internal memory. There is also a microSD slot, but there is no minijack. The main camera has a 108 Mpx matrix, f/1.8 aperture and optical OIS stabilization, and the wide-angle - 12 Mpx (f/2.2). Next to it there are two 5-megapixel cameras for macro and background blurring (both f/2.4), and on the front there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.2). The power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 25-watt charging.

As in the case of other new models of the Galaxy A series, the sets will not include a charger, but the housing can boast an IP67 tightness certificate. And similarly - Samsung guarantees four major updates after Android 12 and 5 years of support with security patches. Galaxy A73 will be available in selected markets in the second half of April. Then maybe we'll find out more about availability in Europe...
