The Oukitel brand, known especially for its armored devices, has just presented another model from the budget series of classic smartphones. What makes Oukitel C38 stand out?
The set of cameras on the large island, with one more lens than its predecessors, attracts attention. As you can expect from this price range, there is only one real camera, but at least there are no dummies - the main 48 Mpx f/1.79 Sony IMX582 camera is accompanied by a 2 Mpx macro camera and a 0.3 Mpx camera for blurring the background. The front camera is also quite good, although in an unfashionable notch, offering a resolution of 32 Mpx with an f/2.25 aperture.
Oukitel C38 also has a larger than its predecessors 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2408, 480 nits brightness and standard 60 Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Its processor is MediaTek MT8788, and it is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM (which can be expanded by 18 GB using virtual RAM) and 256 GB of internal memory (with the option of adding a microSD card up to 1 TB). In terms of performance, the phone may perform better than its predecessors, but the operating system is not the latest Android 13. The Oukitel C38 battery has an above-average capacity of 5150 mAh, and the modest charger included in the set will fill it with a power of 18 W.
