The Dimensity 9300 performed well in this year's performance rankings, but after two months the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 managed to take the lead. And what is it like now?
Mediatek Dimensity 9300 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are two flagship processors with similar performance. The new Snapdragon has faster-clocked cores and offers a higher CPU frequency (3,300 MHz compared to the competitor's 3,250 MHz), and the Dimensity 9300 relies on four large Cortex-X4 cores and offers a much higher GPU frequency of 1,300 MHz, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 reaches in this area 770 MHz. This month, the scale was tipped by Dimensity 9300+, an overclocked variant of the Mediatek processor with a main core reaching a frequency of 3.4 GHz. This processor has already been used by Vivo iQOO Neo9S Pro and Vivo X100s Pro, but the basic model Vivo X100s benefited most from it, winning first place with a score above 2.1 million points.
The standard Dimensity 9300 variant also maintains the level - its Oppo Find X7 was on the podium right behind the victorious Vivo, and Vivo X100 Pro came in fifth place. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 maintained the level, powering the gaming Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro+ in third place and Vivo iQOO 12 in fourth place, as well as the foldable Vivo X Fold3 Pro, Vivo iQOO 12 Pro and Vivo X100 Ultra at the end of the top tens.

While Mediatek Dimensity triumphs on the list of flagships, Snapdragon is fighting in the segment of cheaper semi-flagships, which has previously been Mediatek's domain. The first two places there were taken by OnePlus Ace 3V and Realme GT Neo6 SE, and third place went to Redmi K70E with Dimensity 8300 Ultra.
