The new model has just gone on sale in Pakistan. What is the difference between Realme 12 4G and Realme 12 5G? Connectivity, of course... but that's just one of many differences.
In some respects, Realme 12 4G is even better than the previously familiar model - its screen is a 6.67-inch OLED, so you can expect better colors compared to the LCD-equipped Realme 12 5G, although its resolution (1080 x 2400 px) and refresh rate (120 Hz) remained unchanged. The Realme 12 4G screen also offers a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and is protected by reinforced glass, and the side fingerprint reader has been replaced with an under-screen one. The battery is also better - still with a capacity of 5000 mAh, but this time with a charging power of 67 W, which, according to the manufacturer, charges from 1% to 50% in 19 minutes, and in 47 minutes to 100%.

Realme 12 4G also has weaknesses - one of them is the main camera, 50 Mpx Sony LYT-600, more modest than Realme 12 5G, 1/1.95 inch in size, with f/1.9 aperture and capable of recording videos in 1080p resolution at 30 FPS. The camera is accompanied by a 2 Mpx depth sensor and a 16 Mpx selfie camera in the hole at the front. There is also another processor - in this case it is Snapdragon 685, accompanied by 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of internal memory, which, if necessary, can be expanded with a microSD card in a triple slot with space for Dual SIM. Realme 12 4G also has a 3.5 mm minijack socket, stereo speakers and basic IP54 tightness.
Realme 12 4G can currently be purchased in two internal memory options - 128 or 256 GB. The variant with 128 GB of file space costs 60,000 Pakistani rupees, which translates into $ 215, € 200.
