Vivo has unveiled two affordable smartphones, Vivo Y37 5G and Vivo Y37m 5G. What are their characteristics?
In fact, based on the descriptions on manufacturer's website, it is difficult to see the differences between Vivo Y37 5G and Vivo Y37m 5G. Both smartphones have the same style and the same specifications, but differ slightly in model numbering and available memory variants, which may mean that they will simply go to different distribution channels. What do the new, cheap Vivo mid-range models offer?

Vivo Y37 5G and Vivo Y37m 5G have 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screens with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a brightness of 840 nits, as well as MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processors, LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC5.1 mass storage. The devices are powered by 5000 mAh batteries, charging with a power of 15 W, and the system is OriginOS 14 based on Android 14. The equipment is complemented by two cameras: 5 megapixels at the front and 13 megapixels at the back - both with f/2.2 apertures. There is another camera on the back - but it is described as an anti-stroboscopic sensor - a sensor that reduces flickering in artificial lighting. It is possible that it also has its share of portraiture. The smartphones also offer minijacks and water and dust resistance at the IP54 level.
