Along with the foldable smartphone Honor Magic V3, the flagship tablet Honor MagicPad 2 also had its global launch at IFA 2024, with parameters significantly exceeding last year's Honor MagicPad. Now you can also buy it in Europe.
Like Honor Magic V3, the Honor MagicPad 2 tablet impresses with its slim design - it is 5.8 mm thick and weighs 555 grams, making it thinner and lighter than its predecessor. The diagonal of its display has also shrunk slightly, but it still remains large - the Honor Magic V3 OLED screen is 12.3 inches, with a resolution of 3K, a brightness of 1600 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. PWM dimming with a frequency of 4320 Hz is responsible for eye protection, and the new AI Defocus Display technology, also present in the global Honor Magic V3, simulates defocusing lenses and protects against myopia. Honor MagicPad 2 also promises flagship-level sound with IMAX Enhanced and DTS certificates, as well as surround sound technology that is 25% more effective than its predecessor.
The 10050 mAh battery and 66W charging remain unchanged, and the camera set looks similar - 13 Mpx on the back, 8 Mpx on the back. The processor, however, looks much better than its predecessor, this time played by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a more modest version of Qualcomm's currently most efficient processor. There is also the Android 14 operating system with the MagicOS 8.0 interface, with the much-vaunted AI functions, including voice-to-text processing, handwriting enhancement and equation recognition, as well as the Magic Portal, an intuitive system for transferring content between different applications.
Honor MagicPad 2 is available in Europe in white and black versions with a single memory variant - 12 GB RAM, 512 GB internal memory. Its price is €599.
