As expected, Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25+ and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra were presented at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event. They look familiar, but there are some new features.

On the hardware side, the difference is primarily made by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, in all three models. All three models will also get 12 GB of RAM - including the basic Galaxy S25 model, whose predecessor had to make do with 8 GB of RAM last year. The Galaxy S25 Ultra model brings the most changes, with its ultra-wide-angle camera now having a resolution of 50 Mpx and an f/1.9 aperture, and its display being 6.9 inches. Despite the larger screen, the latest smartphone has been slimmed down a bit - its dimensions are now 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm, and it weighs 218 grams. And let's not forget about the One UI 7 interface based on the Android 15 operating system, and the promise of seven years of updates.

One UI 7 introduces a handful of new features, such as Now Brief, which compiles important data from selected applications into an accessible report. The previous Galaxy AI features have been enriched with new features - the photo editor can add elements generated based on a verbal description instead of the previous sketches, the text summary function can now format it into sub-items or a table, and Circle to Search recognizes phone numbers, email addresses and websites in photos, and can even recognize music playing in the background of a movie. What's more, from now on, Samsung's applications will also work with the intelligent Gemini assistant.

Looking at the new Galaxy S25 series smartphones, it can be safely said that owners of last year's Galaxy S24 flagships do not need to replace them with a new model. For others, however, buying a smartphone from the Samsung Galaxy S25 series may be a good choice... because all three cost less than the price of the Galaxy S24 smartphones on the day of their launch! Depending on the model, you can save up to €70, and during the pre-sale period (from today until February 6), you can additionally buy a variant with twice the amount of internal memory for the same amount. The prices of the individual variants are as follows:

  • Samsung Galaxy S25, 12/128 GB -, €899
  • Samsung Galaxy S25, 12/256 GB - €959
  • Samsung Galaxy S25, 12/512 GB - €1079
  • Samsung Galaxy S25+, 12/256 GB - €1149
  • Samsung Galaxy S25+, 12/512 GB - €1269
  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, 12/256 GB - €1449
  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, 12/512 GB - €1,569
  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, 12 GB/1 TB - €1,809

Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are available in navy blue and light blue, with the standard version also available in grey and green, and the plus version in silver. On Samsung's website, they can also be purchased in black, red or gold. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in blue, grey silver and black, and on the manufacturer's website, you can also choose from a green, gold and Black Plus variant - it is distinguished from the standard black by the black colour of the side frame and the black accent of the stylus.
