Samsung announces four new smartphones from the Galaxy series. The models Galaxy Core II, Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Ace 4 and Galaxy Young 2 are budget smartphones equipped with a simplified interface TouchWiz Essence and Android 4.4.
Let us have a look at new models in brief. Galaxy Core II received the rear panel imitating the leather and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, supported by 768 MB of RAM. A user has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 800x480 (207 ppi), 4 GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. The phone has a 5-megapixel camera, a VGA webcam and a battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh. The housing dimensions are 68x130, 3x9, 8 mm, and weight - 138 g. The phone will be available in the Dual-SIM version.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 is a more compact model with a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800x480 (233 ppi), driven by a dual-core processor. On board there is 4 GB of internal memory, a microSD slot, a 5-megapixel camera, and a VGA webcam. The smartphone will be built in two versions - for LTE and 3G. The first has 1 GB of RAM, a processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and a battery with a capacity of 1800 mAh. In case of the 3G version we have a CPU clocked at 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM and a 1500 mAh battery. The housings also have different dimensions. The LTE model measures 121,4 x62,9x11 mm and weighs 130.3 g, while the same parameters of the 3G variety are: 121,4 x62, 9x10, 8 mm and 123.8 g.

Galaxy Young 2 is a phone for even less demanding users. It has a 1 GHz single-core processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of ROM, and a microSD card slot. In this model, there is a 3-megapixel camera and a 3.5-inch HVGA display 165 ppi. The phone does not have a front camera, but it will be offered as a dual-SIM, drawing power from a 1300 mAh battery. Users get for free eight Gameloft games. The dimensions are: 109,8 x59, 9x11,8 mm, and weight - 108 g.

The last novelty is called Samsung Galaxy Star 2. The model is very similar to Young 2, but it has a weaker 2-megapixel camera. It is a bit lighter - 107.6 g. The rest of the parameters are identical, including the free games.

As you can see, the novelties are not too impressive, but they can be a tasty morsel for people looking for a cheap smartphone or choosing an operator mobile "for a buck." All models should be on sale soon, although we do not have precise information on the availability of individual versions. There prices haven't been given either - but from the specifications result that they are unlikely to be high...
