Samsung presented two new models: Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite.
In case of Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite, the housing is quite simple - it is a variant of the known Galaxy A6+ for the Chinese market, offered with 4+64 GB memory for the amount of 2699 yuan, or 405 USD.
A truly new, in the full sense of the word, design is Samsung Galaxy A9 Star. It received a completely new stylization for Samsung, with a glass back and a camera placed in the corner. Galaxy A9 Star has a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with Full HD+ resolution and 18.5: 9 aspect ratio. The heart of this model is the 8-core Snapdragon 660 processor with 4 GB RAM and the Adreno 512 graphics chip. The internal memory is 64 GB, expandable with a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Star is equipped with a 24-megapixel camera for selfie, while the rear camera is dual, with 24 and 16 megapixel matrixes. Power is provided by a 3700 mAh battery with fast charging and Android Oreo as the system. The equipment is complemented by: a fingerprint reader, a face recognition, DualSIM and USB-C and minijack sockets. The phone will be offered exclusively in China, where it costs 3699 yuan, or 577 dollars.
