After POCO M6 Pro, POCO M6 Pro 5G and POCO M6 Plus 5G the time has come for the basic model, whose global premiere is just around the corner. Official announcements reveal which Redmi model is its prototype.
Promotional graphics of POCO M6 Pro published by POCO Global on X reveal that the new smartphone will have the same camera system as Redmi 13 4G Redmi 13 4G, with two large lenses and a ring-shaped LED illuminating. The entire housing is less uniform than the original, with the camera area highlighted in the style typical of the sub-brand, there is also a large POCO logo and three new colour variants.
The fact that Xiaomi has once again changed the Chinese Redmi into a global POCO is also proven by officially confirmed specification elements. POCO M6 will definitely get a 108 Mpx main camera and a 5030 mAh battery with decently fast 33 W charging. The manufacturer left out some less impressive parameters - assuming that POCO M6 Pro will actually be a complete clone of Redmi 13 4G, you can expect 6.79- inch IPS TFT LCD display with 90 Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 px resolution, MediaTek Helio G91 processor, a largely decorative 2 Mpx background blur under the main camera and a 13 Mpx selfie camera. However, there will be the current Android 14 operating system and advantages typical of cheaper smartphones, i.e. a microSD memory card and a 3.5 mm minijack socket.

The manufacturer has announced the prices - the variant with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal memory will cost $ 129, or approximately € 119, and the variant with 8 GB and 256 GB of file space will be available for $ 149 - € 138. The manufacturer points out that this is a promotional price - the price of Redmi 13 4G, which has been on sale for a few days, is slightly higher. As a budgeter, the POCO M6 4G will have a lot of competition, but with the price cut, it could be a good choice for those on a budget. Its plaunch will take place on June 11.
